For more than 25 years, Ben Newman practiced civil litigation across Florida, representing clients in high-stakes cases involving medical malpractice, nursing homes, transportation liability, and more. Now a full-time ADR professional, Ben applies his extensive courtroom experience to help attorneys and their clients resolve disputes outside of trial through mediation and arbitration.  Ben’s practice as a mediator and arbitrator spans over 20 years, where he has built a reputation for persistence, fairness, and thoughtful decision-making. His focus on alternative dispute resolution (ADR) enables clients to avoid the time and costs associated with trials, while reaching meaningful resolutions.

Experience & Legal Expertise:

● Former partner at Wilson Elser and shareholder at Gray Robinson, Ben’s career includes working at both national and statewide law firms, giving him a deep understanding of the litigation risks attorneys and clients face.

● As a highly experienced trial attorney, Ben has litigated across Florida, from the Panhandle to the Keys, often handling complex cases involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death.

● As a mediator, Ben is known for his tenacity in helping parties find common ground and resolve disputes amicably.

● As an arbitrator, he brings a thoughtful, deliberative approach, respecting both the process and the parties involved.
